Canadian Tiger Swallowtail

Shot of a Canadian Tiger Swallowtail taken near the Cut River Bridge in the Upper Peninsula – which is fitting since that’s almost Canada.  This was a side stop on a trip to Mackinac Island to do a little hiking.  Turns out, we couldn’t follow the trail very well and ended up hiking to the middle of nowhere.  Upon returning, we discovered that we had found some ticks, thus marking the first time I had ever had to deal with those buggers.
