One of a few shots from GLSKS taken with the Sony – which spent most of it’s time tucked away in a dry bag. I (and others) attempted this trip a few years back and didn’t make it. This time the group made it to the North end of Grand Island in about 2.5 hours to have lunch on the beach before the 4+ hour push back to the mainland against 15-20 mph wind. We had a couple very determined participants with us and no towing was done that day.
I have a few more picture on the waterproof camera, but I think I left it in my PFD which is over in storage.
