Warsaw Barbican

gThe Warsaw Barbican.  I didn’t know what it was, or what the significance was at the time, but it was a cool thing to take a picture of in Poland.

barbican is a fortified outpost or gateway, such as an outer defense to a city or castle, or any tower situated over a gate or bridge which was used for defensive purposes.
