Sunrise

Crater Lake Sunrise with HDR.  Yes, we got up early for this shot which, unless you know the camera is pointed East, is indistinguishable from a Sunset.  Sunrises and sunsets are always kind of a crap-shoot because you have no control over them yet the entire activity is just showing up to observe what happens.  Compare this to hiking to a waterfall in which case the activity is mostly the hike and the main even is relatively predictable.

But… we did premake coffee the night before to ease the sadness of having to get up so early while on vacation.
