German Countryside

What’s interesting about this picture is not the pretty little village, it’s that this was a typical two lane road that we were on every day going to and from the plant.  Germany is known for the autobahn, a road engineered to be almost 2x as hefty as normal, but the smaller roads were often about one and a half cars wide and were all shouldered as shown here due to cars needing to pull of the road to pass oncoming traffic.

    What a lovely photo…pleasingly framed. Cute fluffy clouds and cute village nestled in a little countryside valley. Solar and wind powered. I bet people are happy here.
