For a few years, we thought that the polar bear exhibit was just a mean joke because there was not and, as far as we could tell, had never been a polar bear in the habitat. Then one showed up, and she looks sad (at least in this picture). Apparently she’s gone again, as the picture was from 2012 and there’s a 2014 note that she’s moving to another zoo while the enclosure gets remodeled.
