Cinque Terre – Vernazza

Vernazza

Merry Christmas!

A shot from on the brake wall from the previous picture.  You can’t really make out a trail thanks to the vegetation, but the trail comes in from the upper left here.

Cinque Terre – Vernazza

Vernazza

Apparently I tagged a bunch of pictures form Cinque Terre for posting, but never post them… so we’re going to have a few more of those to round out the year.

This is another of Vernazza from above as we were coming down into the town.

* I’m pretty sure I deleted two of the three shots that went into the HDR composition, which makes me feel dumb.  The one I have was shot at 1/80 sec, but I’m not sure if it was the mid or the under exposure.

Epcot

Epcot

Epcot, obviously.  I think I’ve been there three times.  I think every time I’ve been less impressed.  When I was there in 6th grade (no camera), I remember running around to all the countries and seeing all the unique stuff and thinking it was awesome (Magic Kingdom did not get the same rating).  When I was there in 2006 shortly after college, I remember doing the same loop, but my predominant impression being that the country venues were full of fake crap and everywhere you turned there were restaurants, shows and souveniers to buy.  I’m not sure if the content really changed (I’m sure my realization that the stuff was all replica was just part of growing up) or if I just got more annoyed with the persistent sales pitches.
