Chicago Skyline

As long as we’re on the string of pictures from in and around Lincoln Park, here’s one looking South into the city.

This was taken shortly after I got the 50mm f/1.8 lens for the camera so I was running around playing with it.  Took a few shots toward the city and stitched them together to make this.  Much clearer day than when I took the previous picture of the Hancock Building.  Also, there’s a better view of the useless structure over to the left, which is good, because it’s really the only justification for the left side of this picture since the skyline of buildings ends just that side of center.

Large building on the right that’s cut off… blame that on the 50mm lens.  Not my fault!

Pictures taken with Canon 60D, EF50mm f/1.8 II lens, f/6.3, 1/320 sec shutter
